At least the game looks better on my PC than the console version. Small victories. Also, as to why the app doesn't work with PC or XBox, I feel like it probably has more to do with time and budget than any sort of collusion. They went as far as to cut the final mission and cutscene from the game so that they could finish it and get it out, so whoever was making the companion app was probably told, "Just get it working for the majority of the people who'll be playing it on the new consoles, we don't have the time or money for the half dozen people who might want to use it on anything else.
So do y'all think there would be any work around way to get access to all the tapes and music available, with maybe the map? That would in the least be a victory. Need hacks.
